Sophia's Five Year Anniversary!

 I am proud to say that five years ago this month Sophia's Bridal, Tux and Prom opened our doors for business! As I reflect on the last five years of running this store I am overwhelmed by all the blessings I get to count! Running a small business takes a lot of energy and determination, but I have wonderful employees to share it all with. We work hard together, laugh together, oooo and ahhhh at gowns together, and try hard to make brides' and prom girls' eyes light up every time they come out of the dressing room.

One of the most wonderful blessings that has come from our first five years at Sophia's has been the Daughters Project line of prom gowns. We have, with the help of The Center for Global Impact, been able to start a program in Cambodia where girls who have been rescued from human trafficking are taught the skills needed to make a living sewing beautiful prom gowns from designs by the store's own Nicole Krajewski! In this spirit of celebration for all that we have been able to achieve at Sophia's these first five years, I want to announce that 1% of all sales in 2012 will be given to further the mission of the Daughter's Project Cambodia!! We are excited to be able to give back from the abundance that has come our way! We also know that our brides and prom girls will appreciate knowing that a portion of a very special purchase for them is going to help create a better life for another woman halfway around the world. So here's to the last five years and the next five! I cannot wait to see what is in store! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for all of your support.
