What is a prom registry?

Do you dread the thought of finding the perfect dress, looking beautiful, showing up to your prom in style only to bump into another girl wearing the EXACT SAME DRESS??  That could really put a damper on an otherwise incredible evening!  Sophia's uses the prom registry to make sure that no two (or more) girls from the same school have the same dress!

How is Sophia's registry different from other prom stores?

Not only do we keep track of the gown you are buying, but we also stock our store full of gowns that you can't find all over the internet and other prom stores in Indianapolis.  What good is a store prom registry if your entire class can buy the same gown at other local stores or online?  For prom 2012, we take special pride in picking designers that are exclusive to our store!  This not only gives our prom registry integrity it also protects you from seeing double on the biggest night in high school!  If you still want all the big names like Jovani or Tony Bowls shop Sophia's because we have dresses from these designers that won't be seen on their website or in ANY magazine.  They have created an exclusive collection that is only sold to hand picked prom stores around the country.  And we are one of them!  This is just one of the benefits of being Indianapolis' largest prom store.  Not to mention we have our own in house designer for Sophia's private line, Daughters! 

A customer recently told us she saw her dress on 5 other people at prom last year.  And it was "registered" at one of our competitors so she thought she was safe!  But her classmates bought it online.  Not every registry is the same.  So be sure to avoid stores that carry all the designers you see all over the internet!
